Bridson & Horrox Group strengthens partnership with leading UK firm

The Bridson & Horrox Group is expanding into the United Kingdom after entering into a strategic alliance with a leading UK Print Company.

It has announced a trading partnership with County Print, of Altrincham, near Manchester.

Darren Horrox, managing director of the Bridson & Horrox Group, said: ‘We are broadening our horizons and it makes sense for us to strengthen our Partnership with an established print firm in the UK for the benefit of both companies.

‘County Print is a highly respected firm and the ideal partner with which we can build our foothold in the UK market.

‘This alliance will hopefully lead to more business for both companies in both locations.’

He added: ‘The alliance means we will be able to cater for even more customers, thanks to our connection with County Print, while maintaining the high standards of efficiency and customer service for which Bridson & Horrox has always been renowned.’

County Print was established more than 50 years ago and numbers multi-national companies and government departments among its clients.

Managing director Wayne Rayson said: ‘We are delighted to strengthen our Partnership up with the Bridson & Horrox Group, a business that is at the top of the market and has shown with the recent introduction of its digital hub that it will remain a leader in the industry.

‘The group has shown it is the industry leader in the Isle of Man and we will both benefit from this alliance.’

Earlier this month Bridson & Horrox Group converted part of its print and distribution complex at Print House, Hills Meadow, Douglas, into an open-plan centre for digital printing.

Customers are able to drop in with one off digital requirements, everything from extensive publishing to a single picture taken on a mobile phone. They will even be able to see the print process in action within the new layout.

At the time, Darren said: ‘It is fast and it is affordable. It is the future of printing.’

The market-leading HP Indigo press is at the heart of the hub, ensuring the same colour matching and high quality as a traditional litho press. It has the ability to print nearly 7,000 sheets per hour.

The digital hub team are also experts in the design and production of bespoke signage.

Bridson & Horrox Group looks to the future

The Bridson & Horrox Group is embracing the future with its creation of a new digital hub.

The group has converted part of its print and distribution complex at Print House, Hills Meadow, Douglas, into a new, open-plan centre for digital printing.

Customers will be able to drop in with one off digital requirements, everything from extensive publishing to a single picture taken on a mobile phone. They will even be able to see the print process in action within the new layout.

Bridson & Horrox Group managing director Darren Horrox said: ‘Like all good businesses, we constantly review our operations to see where improvements can be made and to meet the changing needs of our present customers and new ones.’

‘The digital hub can be a one-stop shop for many. You can just drop in and discuss your requirements at the reception.’

Darren added: ‘Everybody holds imagery in digital format and what we are looking to do is enable them to get more from that digital image, from prints through to canvas through to posters.’

‘It is fast and it is affordable. It is the future of printing.’

‘Our market-leading HP Indigo press is at the heart of the new digital hub, which means the same colour matching and high quality as a traditional litho press is assured, but at a fraction of the cost.’

‘It has the ability to print nearly 7,000 sheets per hour, so no job is too big and deadlines will always be met.’

The group is also committed to making the digital hub as environmentally friendly as possible.

‘We’re constantly fine tuning our digital hub to reach the ultimate levels of efficiency,’ said Darren. ‘We want to enable our customers to share our commitment to being green and that means they can order what they need, when they need it – and no extra.’

Thanks to The Bridson & Horrox Group’s wide range of large format printers, it is able to design a variety of business products – everything from advertising graphics to printed wallpaper.

The digital hub team are also experts in the design and production of bespoke signage.

Darren added: ‘Bridson & Horrox has a long tradition of being a Manx company that can offer experience, expertise and customer service and that remains the case.’

‘We have never stood still and over the years have embraced changes in the market place and expanded our operations. We cater for everything from print to office stationery, furniture and business machines.’

‘We are still doing everything else that we do, but the idea of the digital hub is to allow people to maximise their digital spectrum.’
